Is solar worth it in the UK?
For most properties with reasonable roof orientation, yes — we'll give you a realistic generation and payback estimate as part of your survey, not a sales pitch.
How long does installation take?
Typically [1–2 days] for a domestic system, longer for larger commercial roofs — we'll confirm a programme as part of your quote.
Do I need planning permission?
Most domestic solar installs fall under permitted development. We'll flag it during the survey if yours doesn't.
Can I add battery storage later?
Yes — most systems can be retrofitted with battery storage if it wasn't installed initially.
Are you MCS certified?
Yes — ARP is MCS certified for solar PV and battery storage, which is required for Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) eligibility.
